An Effortlessly Elegant Senior Session in Excelsior, Minnesota

Carla and I worked together to create a senior shoot that fit her personality beautifully. We took inspiration for her love of Emily Dickinson and finding antique books and created a cozy, bookish, session that was elegant and artistic all at the same time. I shot much of her session on 35mm film with Portra 800 film stock, rated at 200. I found a cozy little studio spot and a hidden forest area with dreamy evening light, both of which ended up being incredible backdrops for her session!
