Rhyses Stillwater Senior Session

What setting do you imagine your senior photos to be captured in? Growing up in rural Minnesota, and now having lived in Minneapolis for the past 6 years, one of my favorite parts of the senior shoot planning process is helping my seniors pick a location that is unique and fits their vision beautifully. There are so many hidden gems in Minneapolis and throughout the surrounding suburbs and I love sharing them with my seniors!

Rhys grew up spending time exploring, working, and biking downtown Stillwater and wanted her photos to represent this charming town that she loves so much. She also envisioned herself in a more natural setting and so we headed down to a quiet little lake side area amongst the bluffs to finish off her shoot - and does she not look the most beautiful water fairy nymph you’ve ever seen?! The floaty white Brandy Melville dress she picked as her final outfit was perfect. I had discovered this little area by the lake last spring on a scouting excursion I had went on to find some unique new locations - I definitely hiked around this park for a solid 30 minutes before finding a hidden staircase that led me down to this spot! What a dream!
